Some people are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work. We like those kind’a people. We reallllly like ‘em… so it comes as no surprise that we really like Ali and Josh.
When we arrived at Four Oaks Manor several hours before their wedding, Ali was rolling up her sleeves; seamlessly executing the vision that she had pieced together: month by month, detail by detail, piece by beautiful piece.
See this dress? This dress almost didn’t happen. Ali had bought a different wedding dress and decided that it wasn’t the one for her, so she went back and got this stunning Alfred Angelo number (with POCKETS!). I am so glad she did… even if it did result in her ending up with two dresses
Ali, you are absolutely stunning.
Lauren’s Floral Designs was responsible for the lovely, uncomplicated blooms that decorated everything from the groom’s lapel to the long, picnic-style tables.
Ali and Josh’s heartfelt vows ended in: “where you go I will go, and we will have an adventure together. I will love you with all of my heart.” I adore this line… because what is life, if not an adventure?
Then they walked out, for the first time as husband and wife, to the Zelda theme song. See how awesome they are? Do you have chills? I do!
The Sourtherness of it all just makes my mouth water… and my tummy rumble.
Ali and Josh, you are such beautiful people. Thank you for giving us the pleasure of photographing your wedding, and for blessing our lives with your love for each other.

What an amazingly beautiful wedding! The photos are astonishingly gorgeous and I can only imagine what a heartfelt day that was. As my own anniversary draws near, posts like this make me teary.
