Atlanta Wedding: Kofi & Candace

There are moments I’m behind the camera and I find myself sharing the same emotion as those around me. I guess that shouldn’t be a surprise. Because for me, work is not just work and that’s what I love so much about my job. It’s getting to not only capture a couple’s special day but being fortunate enough to get to experience it with them too. So there are times I’m behind the camera and I’m laughing and smiling and definitely crying. And on Candace and Kofi’s Wedding Day, there was one moment in particular I found myself wiping away the tears. Words that were spoken that I just couldn’t get out of my head. They were Candace’s vows to Kofi. She looked down at the papers that held those precious words and then tears began to form in her own eyes, “Kofi, before anything, you were first my friend. And I always prayed that God would provide me with a man that had a heart for God like my friend Kofi. But God turned it around and said, ‘Candace…I’ll do you one better. I’ll give you Kofi’.”

Huge thanks to the talented Bre Sessions for helping me capture Candace & Kofi’s beautiful day! Love the shots she got of Kofi below.

Another great image Bre captured below!

Laura - Gorgeous!!!

Engaged: Victor & Amanda

They were friends at first; friends living several hundred miles away from each other for years. He grew up in the state known to have the longest shoreline of freshwater and she, in the state known to have the longest shoreline of saltwater. But even with the distance, they remained good friends. Until one day, those miles between them went from over a thousand to just a few. And what was once just a friendship became so much more.

Huge thanks to my talented husband, Patrick, for coming along and shooting with me! Love this image he captured below of Victor & Amanda!

Victor & Amanda- I had such an awesome time with you both! I hope these next couple of weeks go smoothly and the move goes great! Can’t wait to capture your beautiful day next year. It will be here before you know it!!

Love , Lacey

Autumn Rose - Absolutely stunning, you two! Congrats!!

Atlanta Wedding: Steven & Ashley

On this rainy evening, I can’t help but think back to how absolutely blue the skies were on Steven and Ashley’s Wedding day. It honestly was one of those perfect Spring days that you long for in the winter and cross your fingers and toes for on your own Wedding day. It was amazing. And I can’t say that anything changed. Surrounded by all of their friends and family, the day only got better as they said their “I do’s” and danced the night away with the people they love so dearly. Friends, family, and room filled with love; I’d say that’s all you need for a beautiful, perfect Wedding day.

Huge thanks to Lisa Johnson for her amazing talent and hard work. Love this shot she captured below!

Another great shot below by Lisa!

Steven & Ashley- Thank you so much for letting me be a part of capturing your special day. I had such a great time with you guys!! I wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness. I hope you had an amazing honeymoon!! Congratulations again!

Love,  Lacey

Doretta - The most beautiful wedding ever. the bride and groom couldn’t have been more perfect.

Columbus Wedding: Ike & Nneka

He wanted to give her the wedding she would never forget. A day that she would look back on and couldn’t help but smile. And though there were a few minor obstacles along the way, he made it happen. When the day arrived, there was nothing but a huge smile on her face from beginning to end.  Surrounded by all the people that they love so much, they exchanged their vows and partied the day away. It was absolutely wonderful and will forever be a day they both will always remember.

Ike & Nneka- Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of your gorgeous day. I had so much fun capturing all the beautiful moments! You guys are so sweet and I feel so blessed to have gotten to know you and your friends & family. Congratulations!
